Lord! He's a comedian!! Everybody is so damned sensitive. If he was a teacher, then go ahead and crucify his ass. But he's not! His whole appeal is his inappropriateness. Is there even such a thing as politically correct comedians? I've never seen one.
Gay brothers and sisters: Get over it. I've seen more male comics than I could ever count do 90 minutes trashing women. We never hear of women rising up and declaring outrage and asking for apologies. There's no 'It Gets Better' video for us. The guy is in the entertainment business. It's not like this was a drunken rage at your local IHOP. It's his stand-up routine. Comedians make fun of everyone. The shit they say can be extremely hurtful if you aren't comfortable with yourself.
Now, please don't start talking about how gay kids kill themselves and shit. His routine isn't for kids. They should never ever hear it. Unfortunately, now they have because its blown out of proportion and plastered all over every media outlet in the land.
The hullabaloo did more harm than good, folks. Take a breath, say a few ohms and concern yourselves with real problems like education, the economy or global warming.
